Chemist's Own Ibuprofen Sodium is for the effective temporary relief of pain and/or inflammation associated with: Headache, Migraine Headache, Tension Headache, Muscular Pain, Cold & Flu Symptoms, Period Pain, Dental Pain, Sinus Pain, Back Pain, Arthritic Pain and reduces Fever.

Do not use this product if you have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders, kidney, liver or heart problems, are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines, are trying to become pregnant or during the first 6 months of pregnancy except on doctor's advice. Do not use at all during last 3 months of pregnancy. Do not use in children 6 years of age or less. Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use this product if you have asthma, for more than a few days a time, are aged 65 years or over. Unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist, do not: use with other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or medicines that you are taking regularly, give to children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea or vomitting. When using this medicine: do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage. If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. The maximum daily intake (6 tablets) contains 134.28mg of sodium (take into account if on a low sodium diet).
