Chemists' Own Heartburn Relief Esomeprazole Tablets 20mg for the lasting relief of frequent heartburn and acid reflux due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease

Do not use this product for children under 18 years old, if you are allergic to esomeprazole, if the blister foil is broken, or if you are allergic to any other proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, or pantoprazole. Do not use it if you are taking antiretroviral medicines such as atazanavir, if you are taking cilostazol (a medicine used to treat pain or cramping in the lower legs or arms due to poor blood flow), if you are breastfeeding or intend to breastfeed, or if the expiry date printed on the pack has passed. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, have or have ever had serious liver disease, are taking digoxin (used to treat heart problems), are taking ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infections), are taking clopidogrel or warfarin (medicines used to prevent blood clotting), or are taking other medicines regularly. Caution: This preparation is for the relief of temporary and minor ailments and should be used strictly as directed. If symptoms persist or recur within two weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are not feeling better or if your symptoms worsen while taking Chemists' Own Heartburn Relief. Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected, telephone your doctor or the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26) or go to the Accident and Emergency department at your nearest hospital.
