Proctosedyl Ointment 15g provides fast, triple-action relief of haemorrhoids and anal fissures with hydrocortisone and cinchocaine hydrochloride. This ointment combines two active ingredients to address the primary symptoms of haemorrhoids and anal fissures simultaneously. Hydrocortisone (5mg per gram) is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling in the affected area. Cinchocaine hydrochloride (5mg per gram) is a local anaesthetic that numbs pain and relieves itching. Together, these ingredients target discomfort at the source, making Proctosedyl one of Australia's most recognised pharmacy ointments for haemorrhoid relief. Suitable for external and internal haemorrhoids and anal fissures, this tube includes an applicator nozzle for internal use. For best results, apply after a bowel motion, up to 3 times daily.
